Bishop Michael Eldon School,( formerly Freeport Anglican High/Discovery Primary School), is one of the four schools governed by the Anglican Central Education Authority and where the Anglican Faith is the integrating principle, providing the ethos which characterizes community spirit so important in the life of the school.

My personal educational philosophy is derived from the belief that teaching is more than a profession. It is a privilege for those who are passionate and committed to educating every child. I truly believe that all students can learn and are entitled to a quality education in a safe environment that promotes and embraces individual talent and ability. We at BMES have set high standards of expectations and accountability. Through the efforts of the school and the community, we will help each child develop his/her skills and talents, and prepare them for continued success far beyond their school years.
